CATR E-EVENT – Writing Conference Proposals and Research Applications

This session will consist of two components. The first, from 3:00-4:00, will consist of brief presentations by Natalie Alvarez and Ric Knowles on the crafting of conference paper proposals and research grants that will be open to anyone interested, followed by a question period. The second, immediately following, will be a hands-on workshop open only to those who have registered and submitted drafts in advance of either a conference proposal (250-300 words) or the one-page summary of a research grant (using the SSHRC Insight Grant “Summary of Proposal” as a model). The workshop component is limited to ten (10) registrants; those who wish to participate in the workshop are invited to send draft proposals or grant applications by 1 April, 2021 to Matt Jones, at catr.communications@gmail.com
