This October 22nd and 23rd, the Canadian Association for Theatre Research (CATR/ACRT) and the Société québécoise d’études théâtrales (SQET) will be holding the fourth act of our conference Crisis and Recovery: Theatre and Performance Before and After the Global Pandemic. Please join us on Theatreagora.ca to catch programming that was postponed this summer. If you registered for the summer conference, you will be automatically pre-registered for the 4th act, and you can use the same username and password to join the sessions.
Highlights will include a Long Table hosted by the CATR Committee on Conduct called Curating Safer Spaces & Devising Protocols That Welcome: New House-Rules in the Domain of Story, a panel on diversity and performance curated by Deneh’Cho Thompson, and the launch of the new issue of Percées. Explorations en arts vivants, the new iteration of L’Annuaire Théâtral, published by the SQET. We will also be holding social events on our Kumospace page and announcing the winners of this year’s CATR Grants, the Lawrence Prize and Scholarship, and the McLauchlin Fellowship.

Theatreagora.ca is hosted on University of Waterloo webspace. The University of Waterloo is situated on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishnaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, land promised to the Six Nations in 1784 that includes ten kilometres on each side of the Grand River.

Les 22 et 23 octobre prochains, la Société québécoise d’études théâtrales (SQET) et l’Association canadienne pour la recherche théâtrale (ACRT/CATR) tiendront le quatrième acte de notre colloque « Crise et relance : théâtre et performance avant et après la pandémie mondiale ». Rejoignez-nous sur le site Theatreagora.ca pour suivre la programmation qui a été reportée cet été. Toute personne inscrite au colloque d’été sera automatiquement préinscrite au 4e acte et pourra utiliser le même nom d’utilisateur et le même mot de passe pour rejoindre les sessions.
Parmi les points forts de l’événement, citons :
- Une table longue organisée par Comité sur la conduite de l’ACRT, intitulée Créer des espaces plus sûrs et élaborer des protocoles d’accueil : nouvelles règles du jeu dans le domaine du récit ;
- Un panel sur la performance et la diversité organisé par Deneh’Cho Thompson ;
- Le lancement du dernier numéro de Percées. Explorations en arts vivants, la nouvelle itération de L’Annuaire Théâtral, publié par la SQET.
Nous organiserons également des événements sociaux sur notre page Kumospace et annoncerons les lauréats des subventions de l’ACRT de cette année, du prix et de la bourse Lawrence, et de la bourse McLauchlin.
