The Distinguished Scholar Associateship is given each year to a scholar whose body of work has made a significant contribution to the study of drama, theatre, and performance, broadly understood, of what is now known as Canada.

From 2002 to 2022, the Directors could confer the distinction of Lifetime Achievement Associate on any Member or former Member who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the field of theatre research in Canada.
De 2002 à 2022, les administrateurs pouvaient décerner le titre d’« associé honorifique pour l’ensemble de la carrière » à tout membre ou ancien membre ayant contribué de façon significative et soutenue au champ de la recherche théâtrale au Canada.
