Translation Support
The Canadian Association for Theatre Research and the Société québécoise d'études théâtrales are pleased to provide translation support for the 2021 joint online conference.
The following services will be provided during the conference:
French-English Translation
Programming
The website, schedule and program are fully available in written English and French.
Opening/Closing Remarks
Opening and closing remarks will feature bilingual content, as well as live translation support in the chat.
Keynotes
The keynote texts will be available in both English and French (one spoken, one in written forms), and live translation towards the language not spoken will be offered in the chat during Question and Answer periods.
Social Events
The opening and closing social events will feature live English and French translation support.
Plenary Roundtables
Plenary roundtables will be supported with live chat translation in the non-dominant language of the event. Moderators will also be able to provide bilingual support.

Linguistic Revision and Support
For this joint bilingual conference, you are free to present your paper in the language of your choice. However, we encourage our members to present a bilingual visual aid or a visual aid in the language other than the one in which the presentation will be given, in order to reach a maximum number of participants. We are pleased to offer linguistic revision and support for your PowerPoints and visual aids. Please sign up for a specific clinic time before each act of the conference.
