We are happy to announce that Rebels and Revels: A Photo Exhibit of the Theatre of the Middle East has been extended through December 2021!
The exhibit offers access to 58 rare photos from six countries. The collection shows the link between traditional performance and the avant-garde sensibilities of the 1950s and ‘60s. The project is a collaboration between the Roshan Institute for Persian Studies and the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland-College Park.
